- This also makes him the second CDMS character to be in an absent status since "Leaf of Absence".
- Mr. Hornbill's drawn out scene of calling on Adam Lyon, is a reference to a scene from Ferris Bueller's Day Off, where the economics teacher kept calling on Ferris Bueller, only for there to be no response, since Ferris was at home, skipping school that day.
- Adam's mother's voice is heard offscreen.
- Adam has Captain Clowny comic books.
- Jake has a shrine to Adam in his locker.
- Game Circle is a parody on Nintendo Game Cube.
- Jake has tape recorded everything Adam's said, since they first met.
- We learn that the School has a baseball field.
